Key Words: history
TO THE EDITOR: I appreciated the historical content review that the Journal recently provided by Dilip Ramchandani, M.D., and Thomas N. Wise, M.D.1 In their introductory history of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, they wrote of the establishment of Psychosomatics in 1960 and its founding editor. However, Dr. Wilfred Dorfman's name was misspelled as "Dorman." Besides that, Dr. Dorfman would have been upset that the authors did not record he was from Brooklyn.
