Psychogenic Contraction of Visual Fields

Psychogenic contraction of visual fields resulting in "tunnel vision" is described in a patient who experienced a "fear and flight" reaction under life threatening circumstances. His subjective experience is linked with statements about perimetric evaluations of visual field alterations that have long been known.
